As a smaller firm, you can be assured that your matter won’t be “funneled” down to a junior then back up to a partner before it gets back to you – which adds extra cost to you! We provide experience equivalent to a top tier law firm (in fact, our lawyers come from top tier law firm backgrounds), but without the top tier price.

We’re available whenever you need us – you can contact us by email, fax, phone, Skype or old-fashioned face-to-face meetings.

Extremely quick turnaround times

We are renowned for the quick turnaround times that we are able to provide – no matter how big or small your transaction. We know how important your business is to you – so we generally aim to review and advise on documents within no more than 48 hours of receipt. If you need it within a shorter time frame, just challenge us!

We are passionate about business, and about providing high quality proactive legal support. With over 25 years combined experience we have entrepreneurial experience and have held directorships in a range of business industries including finance, accounting, IT, and web-based businesses. Our first-hand experience of the “inside” of businesses gives us a unique and commercial perspective of the challenges and opportunities of business owners.

Aspect is headed up by Joanna Oakey, B Media LLB (Hons)

Joanna has wide experience working with a large and diverse portfolio of organizations in the area of contract law, procurement, commercial law, and branding. She has also conducted training throughout Australia covering all areas of contract law, as well as in compliance and the Trade Practices Act.

Drawing from key experiences in multiple jurisdictions, Joanna provides a range of proactive and commercially driven services to assist business managers, compliance officers and procurement officers in all facets of legal business risk.
