We’re a team
Our solicitors specialise in different areas, working closely as a team to ensure we meet your needs effectively. So depending on your matter, you will probably meet a few of us over time – in order that we have the right specialist working on the right matters with you. We absolutely value price transparency. So wherever possible we will provide estimates before we start work. But sometimes it’s difficult to estimate the cost from the outset, so we always use a time recording system. You choose how often you get updates on timespend, e.g. fortnightly, weekly, or daily if you like getting lots of reports!
As a default, we invoice at the end of the month, but are more than happy to accommodate alternate arrangements as you need them, just hit reply to talk to us about this.

We are constantly looking for ways to keep at the forefront of innovation in commercial law and in our dealings with you, our clients. In order to do that we are constantly developing and refining our systems and approaches. So if you ever have any ideas that you would like to share with us – please let us know. Your feedback and ideas are extremely important to us, and we always welcome with open arms any suggestions or feedback that you might have.
As an example of one of our innovative approaches to providing free information about law, we’re one of the only commercial law firms in Australia that have a podcast, where we share our legal tips, tricks and expertise. Indeed we have not 1, but 2 of them! We’ll periodically send you information about the podcasts most relevant to you – but please tell us if you don’t want to receive information about them anymore, and we will remove you from that list (or alternatively you can hit “unsubscribe” at any time).
We also provide fixed fee monthly retainer arrangements. Our retainer clients enjoy discounted rates, as well as the benefit of an on-call legal team that partners with their business. We really care about ensuring that you’re truly satisfied.
